One of the biggest tech events of the fall season did not disappoint. With Apple’s iPhone 13 introduced to the world on September 14, the company unveiled a slew of new features and updates to previous models, once again proving that if you wanted a smartphone this was the one to have.

With the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models for the premium-feature enthusiasts, they also showcased the more cost-friendly iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini models. This offered even more opportunities for people to own the insanely popular mobile device. 

All of the iPhone 13 features are great, improving on previous capabilities and adding some slick new ones as well. But which one is right for you? That depends on what you want. But whether you keep your iPhone 12 or upgrade to the latest and greatest 13, below are Apple’s best new product features to help you decide.

  1. A15 Bionic with 5-core GPU

A15 Bionic is the fastest chip in a smartphone and comes with the iPhone 13. In fact, it is up to 50 percent faster than other smartphone chips out there. It allows for faster performance and better power efficiency, which always comes in handy. The A15 Bionic is available in all models, so no matter which one you choose, you still win.

  1. Improved Camera

Upgraded cameras are something every Apple fan looks forward to with each iPhone iteration. The new 3X Tele lens on the iPhone 13 Pro offers up to 15X digital zoom and 3X optical zoom on videos, which is an improvement over the previous model. Better cameras make all the difference, even if the improvement is incremental.

  1. Animated Wallpapers

Ok, this isn’t the most incredible update, but it is cool. What makes smartphones, and in particular, the iPhone, so special are the little details users come to expect. The four live wallpaper patterns have different color schemes, and on your lock screen, these light bars animate. This feature is available only on iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

  1. iOS 15

With a new iPhone comes a new iOS, available to all iPhone owners. iOS 15 introduces some incredibly powerful new features that make your iPhone 13 experience even better.

  1. Focus Mode

The highly customizable Focus mode offers settings that can allow only certain apps and people to alert you at specific times or locations while blocking others. This is convenient for obvious reasons, and you can even customize home screens that appear during each Focus time. Pretty cool.

  1. Live Text

This is a great feature – users can now pull and paste text copied from an image or website. This cuts down on that tired copy/paste issue and is executed in a way that is fast and easy.

  1. Drag and Drop

Another pullover from the iPad is the drag-and-drop option across apps. A lot of folks are excited about this one, as it serves multiple purposes.

  1. App Tracking Control

Apps tracking you is nothing new, but your control over them with a new Apple device is. Head over to your Settings > Privacy and choose “Tracking.” There you’ll find a few options that let you customize each app or turn them all off. Privacy is key, and Apple knows this.

Using comments is important when learning any programming language. Comments help make your code more readable and understandable.

In fact, in the beginning, you should be commenting more than actually writing code.

Let’s face it, you will run into problems, and you can use these resources to resolve issues you run into. There are also groups and communities that can provide expert and amateur advice on programming problems. JavaScript is a popular language, so it is easy to find communities specifically for JavaScript and solutions to most problems.

  1. Always Make Documentation for Your Projects

You will be making a few practice projects when learning JavaScript. No matter how small or insignificant a project seems, make some documentation about it.

Documentation can include a ‘How to’ that tells how to run the project. You can also include ‘Read Me’ files to tell you what the project does.

The point is to make documentation of all your projects. In the beginning, you will be making really simple documentation that only gives basic information. Later on, you will be adding more and more details.

3D printing is an additive manufacturing process that uses thin layers of filament (in most cases, plastic) to create a physical object from a three-dimensional model. Hideo Kodama initiated a patent for this technology but, unfortunately, never commercialized it. In the ’90s 3D printing began to attract attention from technologies around the world. These years also saw the invention of fully functional human organs for transplants in young patients using 3D printed methods covered with particles and cells from their very own bodies. It was a major success for the medical industry.

Despite these advancements, 3D printing had limited functional productions until the 2000s, when additive manufacturing gained popularity. Additive Manufacturing is the process of adding materials together to produce an item. The procedure of additive manufacturing is in stark contrast to the concept of subtractive manufacturing. Subtractive manufacturing is the process of removing material by carving out a surface to create an object. This process also produces a great deal of material waste. In this regard, the term 3D printing still refers more to technologies that use polymer materials and, additive manufacturing refers more to metalworking. But by the early 2010s, the terms of these two processes were used in popular language across the market, media, companies, and manufacturers.

Around 2008 the first self-replicating 3d printer model was created. That means a 3D printer was able to recreate itself by printing its parts and components. This enabled users to produce more printers for others. Studies show that later the same year, a person successfully walked with a 3D-printed prosthetic leg fully printed in one piece. Then in the 2010’s the additive processes matured, and 3D printing work began to create objects layer by layer. In 2012, with the addition of plastic and other various materials for 3D printing, several authors began to think that 3D printing could be important for the developing world.

During the following years, more applications for 3D printing have emerged, including the world’s first aircraft. Makers using 3D printers agree that this method is faster and cheaper compared to traditional methods and are ideal for those who need rapid prototyping (RP). Terms such as desktop manufacturing, rapid manufacturing, and rapid prototyping have since become synonymous with 3D printing.
